Can I get dowry money back I file for divorce and get separated
if you want to get back the money given in dowry from your husband by a streedhan then you will have to file a case of section 406 ipc in the court for that and if your marriage has been more than 1 year than you can file a divorce case in the court

yes you can get it back, however there is no provision in law to get the amount back which was incurred by you in your marriage. however if divorce is granted by the court then by way of alimony you may get enough money from your husband.
