How long will it take to get Dowry back after filing police complaint

I filed for contested divorce on the basis of of my husband being impotent.My husband and family are refusing to give back my jewelry and dowry even after I requested them multiple times. As the advice per my lawyer I filed a police complaint. How long will it take the police to retrieve my jewelry and cash dowry? Can you please kindly explain the process?

it is how the action of the police was taken against your husband how they are dealing the case it depends on that to get back the jewellery if it is not possible then you must approach the court to get back the jewellery by the way of filing the petition for return of articles
