I met a guy 6 yrs ago,my parents liked him. After a yr he asked me to 1st marry in arya samaj & i did & didn't tell my parents. My father before fixing marriage did background check on him, he turned out to be fraud. When he got exposed he ran away with my money. I then went to Arya samaj & told them that he gave a fake name & ID card & did this with multiple women. It's been 5 yrs. Can I marry without problem? I talked to a lawyer & he said that I don't need to nullify it & im legally unmarried

As you have told in your problem that you had met a person many years ago and later you talked to him about marriage but during the conversation you came to know that the boy is a liar and is cheating on you, so you have to end all your relations with him. Do you want that boy thereDon't bother me, I can get married somewhere else without any problem.

If a person has married a second time while the first husband is alive, then that marriage is legally invalid and no one accepts itAnd if the second wife comes to know during this time that he was already married, then she can file a case in the court against that person under 494 IPC, which has now become Section 84, but if children are born from the second wife, then the second wife and her children are entitled to receive maintenance from the fusband
