Complaint in CAW cell & DV u/s 18-22 by wife against me and my family

My wife has implicated me and my family in a false dowry and DV complaint . Wherein she mentioned that all the gifts and cash given to us as rituals of their side were as the demands from our side. We were totally against it but at that time they insisted for the sake of their respect in their colony and society. No dowry was demanded from our side nor we accepted any. only gifts in the form of clothes and some jewlry like rings were given by them in the ring ceremony. it was captured in photos and the same is with us. At the time of marriage we gifted some jewellry to her as per rituals. now the wife has complained that these things were demanded forcefully and she was beaten after marriage 2 bring more. however she lft the house in mid sept ,came twice in nov to take her belongings (including her sides jewellry) with her out of which we kept our sides jewellry .Now in complt she want justice & alleges that we have all her stridhan and is demanding the same back &monthly maintenance.
Hi sir what had happened what did she say and all what is the matter what is the evidence and all what is the complaint andn all what did she say and all where did she complain and all which court did she say complain and all we can go to the court and file a counter complain or divorce petition

In this regard, i advice you to contest the DV complaint and other complaint. First, you need to scrutinize as to whether the said complaint is maintainable in its present form which has been filed by her against you. Furthermore, whether the case is of over implication of in-laws or not ? if yes, then according to Preeti Vs State of Jharkhand you can be discharged from the charges. Now a days, the wife are filling such cases in order to extort money. Please do not settle with her illegal demands and contest the same bravely. yes...she is asking for maintaince and alomony, she must have also filed section 12 of dv act against u, the case of 498a will also be filed against u, if the FIR will be registered against u den u need to take anticipatory bail with sureity amount and now u have to seek remedy from section 8 and can file an apprisal before the mens cell also and try to go for mutual thing after sitting in the mediation.
