Are you working and have sufficient income for your's and daughter 's maintenance? If not you should immediately file application for maintenance and also file for restitution of conjugal rights to get husband back. If you do that then if he files any case against you the same shall be weak.
Besides by doing that you will come to know what has he been upto and his intentions.

Hi, its really sad to know your situation. In your writing, you have not clarified what you want. If you have come to know that he is approaching police or advocate, might be he is planning to part the ways from you. But don't worry can still fight for your rights. You may too approach the police or advocate. There is a special cell for woman called women cell or DCW cell which particularly takes care the grievances of woman. You may also approach to my office, if you need any legal support in your case.

Hi, Please take proper legal help and draft a complaint against your husband and in-laws and file the same with CAW Cell. Alongwith file a petition under Domestic Violence Act and demand for maintenance of your child too. It is advisable that you take advise from a lawyer of your choice to know your rights as a wife.

The first and the foremost principle says that try and pacify the matter between yourself if you think it's not at all working then you have many remedies which can be opted for you can go ahead and file domestic violence and a case aginst the cruelty U/'s 498A 406 & 34...if you think further that it is still difficult to move the things in that case you can file divorce proceedings on basis of cruelty and desertion.
