Is a divorce required for a non registered intercaste marriage post 5 years of separation? If yes, what's the procedure and total charges?
Yes , divorce is required even if the mqrriqge is not registered. There are two types of divorce , mutual and contested. Harges depends upon the nature of the case. But mutual divorce is always cheaper and less time consuming. However contested is time consuming and expensive.

This one is wrong concept. As per Hindu Marriage Act Marriage Registration is not mandatory requirement. Once marriage is Admitted you can file divorce petition mutually subject to you both are living separate for at least one year. If you want to file one side divorce Petition you can file on the basis of valid reaoson you seems to be.
