No problem at all. Registration certificate is not compels art for filling divorce petition. And if u need that certificate than duplicate copy can be issued. For divorce other formalities must be complete such as separation etc.

there is no need for marriage certicate to file a divorce case. the date marriage is enough. you need marriage cerificate and other related material when one party denied the marriage . which ever party file for divorce have prove marriage if other party denied.

You might remember the month and year of registration then apply for duplicate copy of the same . and then file a case. if you meant registration certificate.
in case you actually meant marriage stamp paper , then in that case your marriage would be treated as unregistered marriage and you can file an affidavit to this effect. and file for divorce
