How to know if there is any police case against me.. because I am preparing for govt. Exams.
Once a police personnel called me that he will file a case against me because I had sent a message to a call girl.
But till today nothing happened, no police came to my home. I never went to any police station..
That's why I want to know if there is any case going on against me which I am unaware of.
Kindly help.

What happen if someone file a case against you?
You will be summoned by the court if someone brings a lawsuit against you. The court will send you a summons. You will receive a summons from that court. If you do not receive these summons, then you are not required to attend court.
What is IA status?
Interlocutory Request (IA Status): An interlocutory request (IA), or formal request, is made by a party to a lawsuit during the litigation process.
As long as you do not receive any summons, it is best for you to assume you have no case against you.
It is only when you receive any summon it is only then you have a case against you.
