How to stop a resident from spreading false news

We have a resident in our society who spreads false news to everyone. He has no proof but says to all that the other person said this etc. Whatever happens in the society, he blames the association and spreads false news.

Yes you can take action on that person as you said he spread false news to others without any proof, and if you prove that that person spreading false news and defaming your association we can take action on him, approach us we will help u
