Can a government school teacher do regular B.ed ?

29-Oct-2023 (In Civil Law)
Hello sir. I have recently recruited as an assistant primary school teacher (Primary TET qualified)in government school on Feb 2021. I am still in my provisional period of 2 years and yet to receive my permanent job confirmation letter. During my verification and interview I showed my qualification as Higher secondary passed with D.el.ed though I was a graduate but didn't have b.ed degree. Now I want to do B.ed for higher studies and also to apply for upper primary jobs high school jobs. I can't do correspondence b.ed as I am still in my provisional period and not a permanent teacher for now. Can I do My regular B.ed course in this case ? With or without letting the authority know about my course ? Or do I have to wait for atleast 2-5 years to get job confirmed and take leave to complete b.ed as in correspondence course. Please help .

Yes, you can do Bachelor of Education, B. ed from distance education if you have completed your graduation with atleast 50% marks in aggregate.

You can proceed with correspondence degree of B. Ed. but for regular course you have to take permission from your department. Please also follow the instruction for admission requirement of concern center.

You cannot get the experience of private school teaching, Experience and regular degree may be considered by Distance B ED. If school does not allow you to do course while working in school you cannot do so. Private job and regular degree are possible but your employer shouldn't know about this.
