Maintenance Charges Society Cost

Hi, would like to know if there is any law regarding society maintenance charges. Should this be taken as per sq.feet or can it be taken commonly from 1bhk and 2bhk. Should it be different for 1bhk and 2bhk? If yes do we have such byelaws? Thanks

Bombay High Court has specifically held in a judgment that the calculation of maintenance charges should be same for all flats, as the services enjoyed by 1BHK & 3BHK is same. Hence, there should be no discrimination in maintenance charges from different flat owners in a society. For further clarification, you may consult with me.
