IPC 420 in matrimonial case what will be the reprcussions

12-Dec-2023 (In Divorce Law)
My wife filed 420 on me and my family in a matrimonial matter along with other 498a etc typical cases. I need to know if I'm in a problem because of 420? Or is it just like other matrimonial cases people don't take seriously? What can police do now that they have charged me and my family with 420?

Sir, the query is not very clear but as long as Hindu marriages are concerned, section 420 IPC is not applicable in matrimonial cases as it is a sacrament and not a contract unlike Muslim marriages which are contracts basically.
