as on the date of your question any sale agreement on 200 Rupees stamp paper is not valid. if you enter into sale agreement with anybody without taking possession then you have to pay 0.5% of the consideration amount which will be deducted at the time of executing the sale deed. if you take possession on the basis of sale agreement, then you have to pay 5% of the consideration price and register in the sub-registrar office without which the sale agreement is of no use.

A stamp paper does not have a validity date once stamp duty is paid it is valid for ever as per the supreme court decision earlier there was a misconception that it is valid for 6 months but once the stamp paper is purchased it can be used anytime.

You have to use it within reasonable time otherwise there would be a doubt about its execution. Purchase new stamp paper to avoid unnecessary complications. Do not take risk for the sake of small amount.

A stamp paper does not expire unless it is specifically denotified. One can also get a refund for it within 6/12 months depending upon State and the type of Stamp Paper. It is however not transferable.
