If you have received a court notice, you need to appear before the date fixed in the notice for your appearance. If you do not appear, you will be placed exparte and exparte order/judgement can be passed against you.

Your query is not clear. However you get entire copies of case of plaintiff if you know details case number, parties, name of court. If it is Caveat Notice, the caveator waiting for you to file suit/writ petition etc., In either case you have to approach advocate otherwise it will be adjudicated ex parte.

First of all your question is not clear. You can check the status of the case if O.S. is filed against you or your neighbour whomever you are concerned. You can visit High Court of Karnataka Website and in that you have to select District Court Case Status and you have to put the O.S. Number and can get the status of case, otherwise even you can visit City Civil Court, Bengaluru and can check the case status in enquiry counter at ground floor, if the case if filed in bengaluru. About Caveat it will be filed by the party who wins the case by anticipating that the opposite party may file appeal against the judgement of lower court in the appeal court in such case the party who has filed Caveat has to be informed and heard in the case without hearing him the case cannot be proceeded.

Sir caveat is only a notice issued so that if your neighbour applies for stay or injunction to court will not grant it exparte but will isssue notice to other side hear both the parties and then pass orders, and yes it is possible to get the details of by just the case no by going to the court and verifying thr case file.

The exact advice can be given only after examining the notice since you not mentioned any details. As for the Caveat, a Caveat Petition/Application can be filed under CPC Section 148A. It is not meant for knowing the content of a suit but is filed to pray that no ex-parte decision be given in a particular case without the applicant (Caveator) has been heard.
