Joined PSU after retirement from air force will i get previous benefit

05-Jul-2023 (In Armed Forces Tribunal Law)
I joined in a PSU on the very next day after retirement from Indian Air Force. Since there is no breakage of service, am I eligible to get my previous experience of 23 years counted against my new job? Since there is no pay protection available and I joined as a fresher in the organisation which will benefit me in continuation of service/protection of my previous pay?

Though you have not specified in your query if you were an officer or airman, it is difficult to answer fully as rules differ.
However as a basic rule, you are entitled to pay protection as per DoPT circular dated 05.04.2010.
The guidelines stipulate that pay include pay plus grade pay and NPA if applicable. pension can continue to be drawn. maximum shall not exceed pay of a GM cadre in case of bank.
As per rules your minimum pay on reemployment can not be less than last pay, that is average of last ten months drawn by you.

In general, you can only leave when the initial contract is completed. This was originally for 10 years. It has since been extended to 14 and I think now its for 20. The length of service would be stated at the time you were recruited or engaged.

Hello, you will get one benefit either pay protection or your experience of 23 years will be recognisable. Please refer your terms and conditions of joining PSU if no bar is placed, you have the case if it is specifically mentioned in your terms and conditions you may not get any benefit. Regards
