Can adivasi land be purchased? If not then could be taken on the lease. For How many years maximum the lease agreement could be done, 99 years Or 25 years ? How to get adivasi land sale permission? Property is in Boisar east

No u cannot purchase adivasi land inMaharashtra. Sec. 36A provibits the transfer of an occupancy of tribal to nontribal except with the previous sansaction of the Collector ( where the period of lease or mortgage does not exceed 5 years) or with previous approval of the state govt..

As per your query

No occupancy of the tribal land can be transferred to a Non-Tribal in any way i.e. gift, sale, exchange, mortgage lease or otherwise except on the application of such non-tribal and except with the previous sanction of Collector in case of lease or mortgage for a period not exceeding five years and in all other cases previous approval of the Collector and the State Government is required.

In your case if you are planning to take the said land on lease for 99 or 25 years you need to take previous approval from the Collector as well as the State Government.
