Q: Streedhan, What Is Covered And What Needs To Be Returned
What is covered under streedhan? What can be claimed me as a wife during the process of divorce? What if in the process of mediation my in laws ask to return mangalsutra? Should I return it? And the gold gifted to my husband... can I take it back?

All that ornaments, mangalsutra, cash, clothings gifted to the bride at the time of marriage is considered as Streedhan of the bride. The wife has the right to claim the streedhan. Nobody can compel the wife to give away her streedhan the same is against law. If the inlaws are claiming Streedhan from their daughter in law the same is illegal. Advisable not to handover your Streedhan at any cost, it's your right to keep the streedhan with you even if you are getting separated.

If your partner is major and if she is a sound mind she can very well give her consent for a physical relationship. After marriage there is no need of executing any document for keeping physical relationship with your partner. However it is advisable that the relationship after marriage between you and your partner should be on the basis of trust and consent of both the parties
Q: Dispute over title in flat occupied for 59 years
I am living in a flat for 59 years held in the name of a erstwhile partnership firm. My father was briefly employed by the firm. The firm was owned by his elder brother. Both are deceased. I filed for title in 2020at the Metropolitan court. Later I handed over the property for redevelopment in 2021. The case has been dragging without any hearings. HI Team, Marriage had happen in month of Nov 23 at Indore. After which she has left home thrice and every time husband has called her back. Now she has left husband home in Oct 25, and it has been almost an year now, wife has shared an notice to husband with Section 144 BNSS - Maintenance. I would need ur suggestion, Husband is not ready to give divorce and how he can overcome the maintenance?

The husband needs to reply to the notice and deny all the allegations and ask the wife to come and the side with him and perform the matrimonial obligation feeling which your husband will have you option but to file a petition for restitution. Only thing is that the name is incomplete. Your mother can file an affidavit wherever needed that her full name is Meena Arjun Ghule.
