My husband lied to me about many things before marriage.

Hi,nI got married in April, 2022. Before marriage my in laws family were behaving very nicely and told few things which later on i found are lie. My husband is bald he hided that by wearing wig, he told us lie about their property, he told us wrong salary, also my mother in law use to fight with me and told me to take divorce, get separated, why u married my son. It is mental harrasment for me. Now i don't want to live with them and want divorce and my marriage expenses spend from my parents. Even I did abortion due to medical issue. nPlease tell me what to do boy is not giving me divorce.
Sorry to know about your situation. You may file a private complaint before the magistrate for being cheated. As you said if they have hidden certain facts before marriage then it is a case of 420 IPC. Apart from this yoh may also file complaint under sections of domestic violence Act..

As per the divorce laws, it is not possible to file for divorce with 1 year of marriage unless there is an exceptional reason acceptable to court to allow such filing of petition. Instead, you may file for nullity of marriage on the basis of lies about he being bald, their propery and his salary by contending that your consent for marriage was obtained by fraud and you can claim compensation as well.

Well, you should file a Petition in Court to get a Decree to declare your Marriage as Null and Void. You should do this with immediate effect. Non Disclosure of his Baldness, Salary Details can be a ground for Divorce and to file a case against them under Section 420 of the IPC, 1860, still you need more gronds to declare your Marriage Null and Void rather than seeking Divorce which is the best option available with you. I will guide you regards the other grounds available to seek your Marriage Null and Void.
