File a Crl.O.P in High Court for reconstruction of bundle. a new card bundle will be constituted with available Xerox copies, or in case there are no copies available, afresh trial may be ordered. in the case of civil, Office copies of documents may be used to reconstruct the bundle with the permission of the superior court. (District Judge in the case of Sub Court.)., as the case may be. internally the matter will be reported to High Court and a memo will be issued to the concerned staff in who's possession the bundle was supposed to be.

What happens if case file is lost in court?

A new bundle of cards will be created using the Xerox copy or, if none are available, a fresh trial can be ordered. In civil cases, Office copies of documents can be used with permission from the superior court to reconstruct the bundle. 27-Nov-2019
