A fake rape case with IPC 376 filed last year got anticipatory bail

22-Aug-2023 (In Civil Law)
A girl has filed an FIR against me with IPC 376 in april this year. Later on, i got anticipatory bail and now the case is on trials. The girl is continuously forcing me to marry her as her demand for compensation. She alongwith her relatives, friends and neighbours are threatning me to spoil my entire life. I am confused and stucked as what to do now. Shall i go for compensate or continue the case because she has all fake proofs regarding this case.

First of all we need to know all important facts of the matter. Whether the case has been filed on class pretext of the marriage? what does the Medical examination of the prosecutrix (that girl) suggest? Any other sections involved in the FIR etc.? Since section 376 IPC is a non-compoundable offence so giving compensation or settlement would not help you.
I can only give a solid opinion once all these facts are clear to me.

Such type of cases require detailed information and proofs of the allegations having with complainant. It is also important that why such allegations has been levelled against you? Is this a case on the basis of false promise to marry or other. Please furnish all details or arrange a meeting for same

If its a false case you should definetely fight the case. However, many people are misusing the provision just to harass the boys post break up. The courts now a days are very cautious about the said misuse of the provision.

There is no need to be silent and do whatever the girl wants. You fight the case. Its not so easy to prove rape charges as people generally think. If you really wish for further legal help or discussion you may call or meet.

as per your query you certainly have certain grievances and concerns. you need to send the other party a legal notice after consulting a lawyer and thereafter if the other party still chooses not to respond or reply to your legal notice you are at liberty to file a case against him / her in the court of law.
