Q: What to do if the case is pending since a long time due to IO
Respected Sir, Namaste. On the above issue, DoPT issued memo on 24.07.2015 framing two articles of charges on the grounds of integrity, devotion to duty etc. as per Rule 3(1)(i)(ii)(iii) and (2)(i) of CCS (CCA) conduct rules 1964. As required, written statements were submitted within the stipulated time frame. Copy of the same is enclosed. This is a case which is in connection with a mutation order passed by me in 2004 when I was on deputation to MCD and working as Asstt. Assessor and Collector, Property Tax Deptt.Civil Lines Zone, MCD. The mutation order was issued as per the DMC Act, 1957 after examination of the case and due recommendations of the dealing hands. Due to misrepresentation of the facts and without knowing the DMC Act, 1957 MCD tried to defame me whose career is unblemished. Although a considerable period of 2 years has already passed since submission of written statements, nothing is heard. IO was appointed on 1.7.2017 doing nothing.
Advocate Gurmeet Singh answered
