Is there any way to find out what all properties are there in his name

19-Dec-2023 (In Property Law)

That Retd Inspector of Police who is thief also, does not used to give Tenant verification document in Police station, can i also raise this issue in court against him and get him punished for this. Is there any way in India to find out all property against some person name (such that Victim will be to know how much assets accused have, so that accused won’t be able to say lie when time comes for him to full fill damage happen by him to victim )? Can we make complaint against a Police ASI, if he has written some Peple stmt in bad writng, tht not evry typist sitting in court was able to read it

Dear client,
In reply to your query I would like to submit that, to my knowledge, there is no 'single window' system in India to verify complete property details of a person. So, as of now one cannot find what properties are held by a person straight away. As, some times properties can be held benami also i.e in someone else's name. But, during investigations investigating agencies can find out what properties are held by a person under investigation. But even they don't have single window system. Even they rely on statements/documents and information from the person under investigation and from their own sources, to find out what properties a person owns.

2ndly, no complaint can be made against any person for bad writing. Though Courts during court case proceedings, have power to make remarks on such writings and pass directions for future. Sometimes even directions may be possible for supplying legible copy of document to the concerned party but again that too during pendency of some case proceedings.

How can I check my registered will online in India?

Only the person who made and registered the Will is able to access it. The sub-registrar can provide a certified copy of the Will to the beneficiaries after the death. This registered Will is only accessible by the person who has signed it.

How do you check if there is any will?

Online verification of a copy of a will is not possible as a Will is a private document that is specific to the person who made it. According to the rules, only the person that made the Will is entitled to a certified copy.

How can I get a copy of my registered will in India?

The Sub-Registrar can provide you with a copy of the will if you comply with all the necessary formalities. You must also present the death certificate and prove your relationship to the deceased.

How do you know if a will has been registered?

Ask the legal heirs if the deceased owner left a testament or died intestate. If he did leave a will, was it registered? If it's a registered document, you can search at the sub-registrar office. Speak to Ajay Sethi now!

The main remedy for you is to first find out in which city he is having properties the most. Then to file RTI application in the concerned department to give information about the properties of the person u want to get information. ... second is to file civil case against that person and after getting decree in ur favour court can ask him to give details of all his assests he is having... there is no other way under law to find out the properties.
