While applying for govt job do i still need to mention quashing of FIR

My father and me charged with fir 420/406/120b and I got arrested. In this my father compromise(19 lakh) with party and the said case get quashed by Punjab and Haryana Hc on the basis of compromise. Now I am applying for various jobs and I go through one question ie have ever criminal case registered against you? So my query is I have to say no or yes. it effect on my interview like pcs or IAS .

It depends upon company to company and organization.but many organizations often asked if you have been convicted or if any case is pending against you so I don't think so you will have any problem as you have not been convicted

Absolutely, you should mention about the case. Also, mention that FIR got quashed on the basis of compromise. It doesn't effect interview since the matter stands settled.

Yes, you have to provide the correct information regarding to regarding you previous criminal record including quashing of FIR's, in every application for government job. However you can make it clear by giving detail of quashing such case vide such and order. Non providing the correct information is liable to rejection of candidature on any stage of recruitment.

If the FIR has been quashed, you don't need to mention it in the declaration form. You can go ahead and give your interviews related to IAS, PCS or whatever exam you would like to pursue. Best of Luck!
