Q: What is the meaning of 'contested decreed' in a case? Please provide the meaning in Hindi, Kannada,
I am the plaintiff in a suit against a bank regarding a property case where someone forged property papers that were in my possession to obtain a bank loan. The status of the case is 'disposed' with the nature of disposal as 'contested-decreed with costs.' What does this mean? Please provide the meaning of 'contested-decreed' in Hindi, Kannada, and English.
Advocate Satish Mishra answered
The order is in your favour and costs has also been awarded to you. Best would be to apply for the orders and then see what is specifically ordered in the case against you. Read the order carefully. To decide future course of action.
Q: Lawyer took signatures in blank paper for quashing case, can blank paper sign be misused ?
have signed a blank green coloured paper and given to a lawyer for quashing a case. I was victim im a criminal case that is to be quashed. This paper is not used till date. I want to know whether that green coloured paper be used for any legal purpose against me in future. Like whether my property or any other thing can be in danger?, why advocate get sign on blank paper?, I am not misunderstanding my lawyer. But only for sake of knowledge.
Advocate Satish Mishra answered
The green paper is mostly used for legal purposes like affidavits, agreement, compromise deed etc. As you told, it is being taken for quashing so it might be used as a compromise deed or settlement with the complainant. It is better to clear this with the lawyer because in long run, if your case is not quashed, you are in double trouble.

If the case is pending inquiry, it won't be returned till the final punishment is announced to you. Also every University has its own UMC rules and regulations. You better be reading them and then making a request for the return of articles.

Maine apne inlaws k against dowry case and domestic violence case dala hua hai iske liye sab ko ek baar samman bhi aa gaye hue hain but ghar mein kisi ne bhi mere husband k samman receive nahin kiye court ne dobara se mere husband ko samman bhejne ko kaha hai aap mujhe do baaton ki suggestion do agar mere husband k samman ghar mein koi receive kar leta hai to unko kya karna chahiye or what happens if summons is not received ? court unpe koi action legi kya???
Advocate Satish Mishra answered
Courts try to send summons bu ordinary ways first, like by post, then may be dasti. On each attempt the delivering person write the comments whether received or not with reasons. If the reason is cited refusal, the summons are deemed to be delivered. If the reasons are place left, address wrong, or some other reason, ask the reader or ahlmad to cite the reasons for noon delivery of summons. Rest, the courts are free enough to issue warrants against the person who is a avoiding summons.
