Husband Torture Wife That He Will Do Second Marriage As Islam Allows

My husband is threating me that he will do second marriage, as Islam allows taht and in this married life he had beaten me for no mistake consuming drugs, extra marital affairs and all.. can he do second marriage without divorce,
Well, as you are a Muslim, so your Muslim Hubby can do Second Marriage, even Third and Fourth. Every Muslim is legally allowed to keep 4 Wives without giving Divorce to the former Spouse. However, as per Islam, he has to equally maintain four wives by providing them all comforts.
