What can I do if university is wrongly showing me as regular faculty

Dear Sir, I come to know from RTI that one engineering college has shown me as Regular Faculty (in pay band 15600-39000+AGP 6000) without my consent for more than 3 and 1/2 years.What legal action i can take and how much compensation i will get.

You have not mentioned in your query as to whether you have worked in that particular college or otherwise ? Whether you were issued any appointment letter by the college concerned ? If so whether there were any terms and conditions mentioned in the appointment letter ? whether the college has committed the breach of contract by shoing you as a Regular Faculty In pay band 15600-39000 etc.? If there is any breach of contract then certainly you can file a suit for damages under the Indian contract Act 1872.

You can ask them to pay you the salary for the entire time period for which they have shown you as their regular employee,
You can ask them to formally induct you in their institution as per their declaration of you being a regular faculty at their place.

if it was fraudulently represented your name as Regular Faculty, it is a criminal case, which can be instituted against the engineering college in different legal sections, further, you can also file a civil suit for compensation by misusing your name without your consent, and making manse profit out of it. Both can be instituted simultaneous.
