Mental harassment by in-laws(mother and father in law)

29-Mar-2023 (In Family Law)
I got married in 29th Oct 2020 in my home town. Mine was love marriage and my husband parents never liked our marriage. They demanded 2 acres of land as a dowry and 2 lakhs for her daughter and 20 tulas of silver to her daughter. Before that we got married on 12th March 2020 in Arya samaj and I told the same thing to his parents if u don't agree to our marriage I'll proceed legally, so they agreed by taking 4 lakhs and 12 tulas of silver, one Tula of gold chain and 6 Grams of gold ring. Now my in laws are harassing every time when I went to their place. They keep on saying that they lost dowry because of me. When I asked for my money back as they didn't like me, my mother in law said that she will file a case in us in the court. During these 1and half year, she literally tortured with her words, I'm very much down by her words. what can I do now?

The nearest police station to the in-laws house is the best place to file a police complaint under section 406 IPC against your mother-in law.
