Hi, my friend's husband was not paying the interim maintenance to his wife and because of that the application for distress warrant was filled in the court, however, the Respondent is not appearing in the court for hearing of that distress warrant so please guide us how to convince the court?

hi friend I understand your question you have to file application for issuing distress warrant To non applicant and you have to convincing the court that the non applicant is not obying the order of the Hon'ble court so he can be prosecuted by contempt of court ab mnd disha obeyding the order of the court by filing the Application by Domestic violence act

If you had filed application, let the report of distress warrant first come on record. Once it gets executed then she should apply for arrest warrant and in that situation he will deposit the remaining arrears.
