If you want to change your name in your CBSE mark sheet, you need to follow the below-mentioned steps:

  1. Prepare the necessary documents: You need to prepare the necessary documents for changing your name, such as a gazette notification or a legal affidavit, depending on the reason for the name change. The documents that you need will depend on the reason for your name change.
If your name change is due to marriage, you will need to provide a copy of your marriage certificate. If you changed your name through a legal process such as a court order, you will need to provide a copy of the court order. If you changed your name due to any other reason, you may need to provide an affidavit stating the reason for the name change, along with supporting documents such as a newspaper advertisement or gazette notification.
It is important to ensure that your documents are authentic and valid. If you are submitting an affidavit, it should be signed by a notary public or a first-class magistrate. The affidavit should also be on a stamp paper of the appropriate value, as specified by your state or jurisdiction.

  2. Contact your school: You need to contact your school and inform them about the name change. They will guide you on the next steps to take.

  3. Fill out the application form: You need to fill out an application form for changing your name in your CBSE mark sheet. You can obtain this form from your school or from the official website of CBSE.

  4. Submit the documents: You need to submit the necessary documents along with the application form to your school.

  5. Pay the fees: You need to pay the required fees for changing your name in your CBSE mark sheet. The fees may vary depending on your school.

  6. Wait for the update: Once you have submitted the application form and the required documents, you need to wait for the update from CBSE. It may take some time to process the request.

  7. Collect the updated mark sheet: Once your name is updated in the CBSE records, you can collect your updated mark sheet from your school.
