Dear Client,

DOB is the most essential element in any document.
FOR CHANGES IN CBSE CERTIFICATE AND RELEVANT DOCUMENTS:
Generally, no change in the date of birth once recorded in the Board's records shall be made. But a Request for correction in Date of Birth shall be forwarded by the Head of the School along with attested Photostat copies of :

(a) application for admission of the candidate to the School;

(b) a portion of the page of admission and withdrawal register where the entry in date of birth has been made; and

(c) the School Leaving Certificate of the previous school submitted at the time of admission.

NOTE: The application for correction in date of birth shall be entertained by the Board only within one year of the date of declaration of result.

No correction whatsoever shall be made on the application submitted after the said period of one year.

FOR CHANGES IN AADHAR:
If at the time of enrolling of Aadhaar your date of birth is not mentioned correctly, then you can visit your nearest enrolment centre. But you need to get DOB changed in your 10th mark sheet first.

FOR CHANGES IN PASSPORT:
After the 2015 guidelines, the process has been made simpler for seeking changes in Date of Birth in existing passport.

1) If you were a major (above 21 years of age for boys and 18 years of girls) when your first passport with an incorrect date was issued, then it can be corrected within 5 years of issuance.

2) If you were a minor (below 21 years of age for boys and 18 years of girls) when your first passport with an incorrect date was issued, then it can be corrected at any time.

REQUIREMENT: Only a genuine birth certificate issued by a competent authority should be accepted as a proof of age for correction.

Hope this solves your query.
