Wife stays with her mother for past 6months and refuses divorce now.

27-Jan-2023 (In Divorce Law)
On a day, after her office, my wife went to her mother's home & texted me that she will be returning after 4 days. When my father called her asking what happen she said, won't want to return our home. Nothing wrong happened in our home for her to take such decision. After 2 days her relatives visited our home to talk & we said, Its upto her decision if she wants to continue marriage. 2 days later her uncle calls, my wife & mother wish to annul the marriage. They visited a lawyer that we will file a mutual consent divorce after completion of an year from marriage date. As decided, when we initiated to call my wife's parent's for filing the mutual divorce after the period they're refusing it. She wants to continue marriage but demand's I should leave my parents. They also visited our relatives place, tried to threaten us for legal actions if we don't do as they say. Now, I wan't divorce and I can't leave my parents. How shall we proceed to file a divorce in such case and on which base?

Dear queriest, as per your query you have mentioned about the fact that your wife wants to leave separate from your parents with you, and also she has stayed away from you from past many months and demanding her wishes, it's better you ask her to come as is where is basis, if not then file for restitution of conjugal rights,

Hello,

It is suggested that you meet your wife and understand the reason of her act and her side of the story. It is very likely that she is being brainwashed and made to act in such a way. Firstly, intimate the local police station and file a complain or a FIR just to keep you safe. Accordingly file a threatening and mental harassment case against the in laws. If your wife agrees to stay with you and your parents take it in writing. If you are going for divorce above evidence shall make your case strong. Feel free to contact me for consultation.
