What will happen if i dont receive maintenance case case petition

My wife filed maintenance case against me. I've moved to my native for some months now. But court petition is send to the address where i lived earlier. Can i ignore the case as it is? Can she get exparte judgement?

You cannot escape from the action and order of the court. It is important that summons must be served to you. If you have moved from your earlier address then your wife must try to find your address or else summons may be published in newspaper. It is better to contest the case.
