How to deal with false 498a dowry case
25-Sep-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Hi sir,
Actually i got married in dec-2020 and i found that my wife has extra martial affair. I have her chat and audio recording where she is accepting her affair. Only this proofs i have.
Now she is living in her parental home from March 2021, they filed only NC complaint in police against my family. Till march there is no FIR or any complaint lodge by them.
IN MAHILA cell, examine officer given writen conclusion that my wife has affair but also writen that she is tortured for dowry as per my wife statement which was false.
Now i heard that they are filing 498-a case against me and my family. Her father given to 2 lakhs cash during marriage time to us, but it was not demanded by us, they given on their own. This is the proof they have in terms of photo.
My query is, is this cash which was presented during marriage comes under dowry? And if yes how i can prove that this was not demanded.? Is this photo of cash during marriage is strong prooof in court? Plz help how to move further
