Procedure to issue warrant against person threatening family

What is the process for issuing arrest warrant againt a person who is threatening my family every day.
File a Nc with the police u/s 504, 506 of IPC. Then approach the magistrate having jurisdiction over the police station and file an application for investigation u/s 190 of CrPC. Since threatening is a non cognizable offence, the accused cannot be arrested directly. It will need the magistrate's permission. Also record the threats to create evidence for future use in the court.

Your first thing to do is to approach the nearest Police station and draw the attention of the Officer of such person who threat to you and your family by any other means as you said. The said Police Authority will register a complaint against such person who may take cognizance of such incidence accordingly.
