Advice relating to divorce proceedings upon receiving a notice

Recently we separate to live I went to women police station for give a compliant about my husband crucial activities and he is a drinks addict but i get no response from there and they dont did any action for him. After that he send me legal notice for gave me divorce on that legal notice discribed about me ful of false and ful of lie about my activities. He asking me to give divorce within a week I dont know what to do I have a two years boy baby and I have completed 3 wedding anniversary

Don't give any reply for the notice. If he files divorce petition then contest it. You can also file a petition for restitution of conjugal rights at proper legal forum. If there is any cruelty then file petition before the protection officer of domestic violence Act.

Madam,
I can understand your position, if are in a mood not to give divorce fro your husband, we have think of other alternative option for reunion and as per the legal notice as you mentioned no one can give divorce within 3 days, it is not at all possible and averse to well established law.

Hello,

If you decided to give divorce then you may go for mutual divorce else you may file a restitution of conjugal rights in the respective court. You may also file domestic violence case against your husband.

You have to give details of your complaint. For legal notice you have to give reply notice. If at all you want to continue your marital life you can file restitution of conjugal right. For more details please contact me.

You can send reply to lawyer notice denying his allegations and ask him to rejoin you. Even after your reply notice if he proceeds to file divorce petition the court will send notice to you. You could appear and contest the case. The courts would not order divorce easily when one party is contesting and it may take years to decide the case.

Don't worry about the legal notice. He will have to file a petition in the Court to get divorce. You can fight his petition and not give him divorce.
