As per Indian law, taking a loan from a money lender is legal, but charging exorbitant interest rates is illegal. If the money lender is harassing and threatening you, he is committing an offense under the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The following are some legal remedies that you can consider:

File a police complaint: You can file a police complaint against the money lender for harassing and threatening you. The police are duty-bound to register your complaint and investigate the matter.
Seek legal action under the Money Lenders Act: The Money Lenders Act is a state law that regulates money lending transactions. If the money lender has violated the provisions of this Act, you can file a civil suit against him and seek legal action.
Seek protection under the Indian Penal Code: If the money lender is threatening you with death, you can file a complaint under Section 506 of the IPC, which deals with criminal intimidation. You can also seek protection under other relevant sections of the IPC, such as Section 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace) and Section 506 (criminal intimidation).
Approach the Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT): If the money lender has filed a fake case against you, you can approach the DRT to challenge the case. The DRT has the power to declare any transaction as illegal and unenforceable.
It is advisable to consult a lawyer who specializes in criminal and civil law to guide you on the legal options available to you and help you take appropriate legal action against the money lender.

hi if he had filed filed any cases against you could file quash petition in high court to quash the FIR on the ground that it is based on all false allegations and that you are not connected to the allegations mentioned in the FIR
