What to do if a false fraud complaint is filed against me

Hi, a false complaint of fraud has been done against me in a police station in Ludhiana. The person has no evidence of the so called fraud but intention is to harass me and make me travel to Ludhiana. Unfortunately, he has bribed the police. Is there any legal order I can take from court to quash the complaint? take action against the person who registered false complaint?

You will have to file a writ petition in the high court for quashing of the entire proceedings.If the high court is of the opinion that there is no evidence against you it will quash the entire proceedings

About evidence---it is part of investigation , will be clear after completion of investigation. If you have confidence no evidence against you then you can go to hon.high court for qush Fir against you.

you can go for quashing of complaint before High Court , and if, it is false case you can file a case of defamation against him and ask for monetary compensation for damaging your image in the society. and kindly take a note that , don't make allegation against the Police because its their duty to entertain complaints of common people police cant denied to take a complaint , and option is with you by contesting the matter you can prove yourself not guilty .
