It will depend upon the content and for what purpose the lawyer served you the notice. As a matter of fact it’s not mandatory but it’s advisable to at least reply to the notice to put your points of defence in the reply itself. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

Yes you should reply to the legal notice recieved through a Lawyer and rebut the allegations levelled against you. Take a help of a lawyer and send the appropriate reply within the stipulated time given in the notice

legal notice is merely a final call and intimation to other party informing the dispute, claim or demand and inituatio of legal proceedings if erring party donot comply with notice. As such law does not suggest issuance of notice especially provided, though it is in practice, not it is mandatory to give reply of notice. you can set up your case in main case while filing your reply or counter.

it is not mandatory to reply to a legal notice in every case accept in cases where is statutory notice is sent before initiating any legal action.
yet it is advisable to reply to legal notice within the time frame provided in the notice sent by the sender.
if you don't respond to the legal notice then most likely the person will eventually file a case in the court.
once a case is filed in the court the court will send you summons to appear and answer to the allegations of the opposite party.

You are not legally required to respond to an official legal notice. However, the lawyer/law office that sent it to you can take the case to court. If the person who sent the notice is not satisfied by your response, you will still be in the same situation.
