Dear Sir,

You have to take certified copy of Lok Adalath proceedings and also Court proceedings then only you can come to know whether it was completely closed or not. There is no procedure to delete completely the case from the Court records. However after settlement you are entitled for get VISA and Passport.

What is meant by uncontested in law?

LAW. Uncontested is used to describe an outcome or decision that no one opposes. The waiting period for a divorce that is uncontested will be reduced to just one year.

What does it mean when a contested case is disposed?

'Contested Disposed' means case filed by the Plaintiff/Prosecution has been concluded with decree/judgment (final decision has been given by the Court) after hearing the opposite party(defendant).

Can an uncontested disposed case be reopened?

A disposed case can be reopened by a party if they are not satisfied. A relief can be granted in the event of an unintentional mistake or surprise. This will reopen a case to further proceedings. A case can be reopened if there is new evidence that could alter the verdict. 27-Nov-2019

What is uncontested disposed of as withdrawn?

Uncontested withdrawal, in my opinion, means that both parties have agreed to settle the case. The applicant has also withdrawn and dismissed the case. 08-Oct-2022
