CASE DISPOSED-PARTLY ALLOWED, what does it mean?
04-Apr-2023 (In Criminal Law)
I have filled a petition under Criminal Procedure Code 156(3). Now it showing on ecourt site PARTLY ALLOWED. what does it means?
Means it has not been rejected, at the same time it has not been accepted as well for the acceptance of 156(3) evidence has to be given , statement has to be recorded for crpc 200,& 200 than only long procedure of 156(3) will be complete.
Dear
Although your questions seems to be half covered as you have not mentioned that what are the prayers in the case. Even then I shall clarify you now that Partly allowed means you would have sought more reliefs than one in your prayer wherein some part must have been allowed whereas the other part is not. Then it is written as partly allowed.

Dear friend, application under section 156(3)cr.p.c.partly allowed it means the Court has allowed your prayer in part.perhaps the Court has found that the investigation is not necessary for your case but the facts showed that some altercation took place between the party hence it is treated as complain Case and fix some date to record your statement. thanks
When you come across the term "Partly Allowed" in the context of a legal case, it signifies a specific outcome in the legal proceedings. Here's a breakdown of what "Partly Allowed" means in court:
- Partial Acceptance: "Partly Allowed" indicates that the court has accepted or granted some aspects of the petitioner's or plaintiff's claims while rejecting or denying others.
- Mixed Verdict: In legal matters, not all claims made by the petitioner may be upheld by the court. The court may evaluate each claim individually and decide to grant relief or allow certain claims while dismissing others.
- Merits of the Case: The decision is typically based on the merits of each specific claim or argument presented during the case proceedings.
- Examples: For instance, if someone files a case seeking both financial compensation and an injunction, and the court grants the compensation but denies the injunction, the case may be recorded as "Partly Allowed."
- Further Legal Action: Depending on the specifics of the "Partly Allowed" decision, parties involved in the case may have the option to pursue further legal action to address the aspects of their claims that were not granted.
