Defamation case in Domestic voilence false case

sir my brother got married in may 2015 and her wife gone back to her parental house and they file DV case in the court and in 2016 they file FIR against my brother, me and my parents total 4 person. The police case is going on and the DV case is disposed. The court fixed the monthly maintenance of Rs.7000/- and 50000 fine to my brother. Nothing is written about me and my parents. The police case is still going on and we have challenged the court judgement in session court.
Now because of this false case my reputation is damaged in the office (working in school) and in my relatives also. Can we filed defamation case against the applicant??
yes you can file defamation case against your sister in law and go ahead to claim compnesation also you can directly go to quashing of FIR and domestic violence proceedings in high court if you have evidence to prove that the case is false

Yes, you can certainly file a Defamation Case. If your motive is Money Recovery, you can file a Civil Defamation Case before the City Civil Court or concerned High Court of the State depending upon Pecuniary Jurisdiction. However, if your motive is to punish the culprit, i.e, your wife and her family, who all have filed false cases against you, then you can file a Criminal Defamation for putting them behind bars.
