Can 75 year old man be arrested under Sections of the IPC

Without court order 75 yrs aged man arrested by UP Police without investigation, on a FIR only and put him behind bar since 10 days , just because got good money from the other party. Is this right ? Can police do this with 75 old man without proper investigation and court orders Pls help. The applicable sections are 419, 420, 67, 68, 71 & 506

Criminal law doesn't give any immunity to a senior citizen.

If you are arrested for a Bailable offence, you can get bail from Police itself. If you are arrested for a Non-bailable offence, only the court can grant you bail. If you get a bail, it doesn't mean the trial is over.
