What is the average court hearing listing time for civil cases?

26-Aug-2023 (In Civil Law)
Why does it take a long time for a case to be listed for hearing? How does the court decide the case listing? My case was listed in May and notices were served and adjourned for 2 weeks. When will it be listed again?

if the matter is pending in the District court or the High COurt then a date would had been given to you, if the matter is pending before the Hon'ble Supreme court then you will have to check the cause list which is uploaded on the Supreme COurt website. usually the matter is taken by after 4 weeks time at the most.
