Can I be sued for telling someone that their wife is cheating?

My friend is cheating on her husband. I am planning to tell her husband everything. But i have only seen it from my eyes. I do not have any other proof. Can her wife sue me for defamation case if she finds out I told her husband? Can I send anonymous text / letter / facebook message? Will they count as libel ?
Hi..yes definitely you can tel the same thing to her husband but try to confirm that all the allegations which your making on her is nothing but the truth and if the matter is real no one can file a defamation case against you and its not permissible under law.
