A complaint should be filed at the earliest but not later than TWO YEARS from the date on which the cause of action arose. However the Court may entertain the complaint after a period of 2 years if the complainant is able to satisfy the court that there was sufficient cause for the delay.A complaint should be filed at the earliest but not later than TWO YEARS from the date on which the cause of action arose. Q: Issue with purchased furniture, Not as per size and some not delivered

I ordered some furniture from a shop near my place in Wakad. We gave an order for dining table, 4 dining chairs and a center tableThe Dining table was made according to what we asked for but there were some minor issues which we don't have an issue with. For the dining chairs, we chose one style from their shop and asked them to make it in the same design and size and they accepted. The chairs they made were huge, looking like office chairs rather than dining table chairs and they refused to accept their mistake and rectify it. They keep saying that we didn't provide dimensions whereas we chose a chair from their shop only for referenceSecond, the center table we ordered was taller than the dimensions we provided and they accepted to redo it but it's almost a month and I'm not getting a date of delivery. They don't pick up their phone eitherWhat legal options are available to me ? I paid 75,000 for faulty chairs and center table and have to listen to their rude replies

Advocate Dinesh Sharma answered
case can be filed before district commission within two years from the date the furniture was purchased and also will have to produce the bills and the defects which was beared and the conversations with the person who sold the furniture in reference to resolve it.
