I have faced mental tortured since 3yrs.then on 10Jan came to parental house with my 7yrs daughter,and also make a 498 and 34 case to police stationagainst husband and motherin law.then after several conversation with my husband ,it was pretentented that he wants one more chance to solve all these.I really also felt that it will be solved.Then with the help of my advocate I worte an application for withdrawl of cases.but my husband was not agreed with this format of the letter.His advocate typed a petition with the detail that both of us understand our mistakes and now we have no complaints each other.I have signed on it.Now I have realised that I have done a great mistake.all the copies including notary are with me .please guide me can I change it.please guide me urgently

No problem . Issue is you want a happy life with your husband. If on signing such compromise letter your husband rectifies himself and lead a happy conjugal life with you, then its fine. If torture starts again you can again go to the police.

Don't worry, First you decide what you want. Court is not a place like playground or Park. If you want to compromise you have to come in clean hand and clear mind. Forget your past. Think positively. Otherwise, if you do not continue your relation you fight. 498A is a continuous offence, you can re-file a case latter on.

Look, It is family dispute. For the purpose of continue the matrimonial relationship, both the Ld. Advocate make the Petition with the consent of each other. Therefore, there is no mistake at all. Moreover, I wants to say you that, you have enough opportunity to lodged another Written Complaint with a new Cause of Action (if your husband or in-laws do the previous things once again) and then new Case will start against them. So it is a temporary relief as well as permanent relief. If the relation between you and your husband became good, then this present Compromise became permanent relief and if the relation became worse once again. then the preset compromise became temporary relief and you can took in shelter before any legal forum.
