Neighbors children creating nuisance what action can I take

17-May-2023 (In Civil Law)
In front of my house there is a road and parking space for 6-7 cars. 4-5 Children(age 12-16) of neighbours plays cricket on that road. This act of theirs has become a nuisance for me and my family members. We can't step out when these children play cricket as there is fear of being hit by the ball. I raised this issue with their parents. Parents replied, that they can't stop their wards from stop playing, either you do not come out at that time or file a police complain. In my family there is my mother, father, brother(90% handicap), sister in law(brother's wife) and my nephew(6 months old).

The problem can be handled socially and in friendly manner. Distribute sweets and candies to children and be their friend. They should then show you respect and stop the game to let you pass. Be friends with their parents. Your kids may also play with them or like them in future. Be responsible citizen and create a good society. In case, you want to fight you may approach the society office bearers or police authorities. Filing a suit is a last option in this cases but is possible if you want to spent time and money. Please consult in-person for a detailed advise.

You can file an injunction suit in a civil court for restraining such nuisance. If there is any damage that has been caused to you earlier by such act , such damages can also be claimed by you in the civil court. Exact legal remedy and strategy can only decided after ascertaining complete facts of the case.
