Salary cheque given by employer got bounced, please advise.

Hi there, my last employer has shut his business and the salary cheque he gave me has bounced. What should I do can you help at all?

File a case u/s 138 ni act ...and also a complaint against him or her in labour court....if he or she is laible to pay you your salary then both cases can br filed simultaneously but i would suggest you to file 138 cheque bounce case

U can pursue case U/s 138 of NI act . U have to clear all the scenario whether that company or business still in operation or not?? Where is employer situated now a days and so many things.

You will definitely get your cheque amount back. Please share specific detais regarding facts of the case for elaborate consultation. Please get the bank memo for bouncing of the cheque along with the reasons for the same.

You can send him a legal notice within 30 days of return memo from bank and file a complaint for dishonor of cheque and you can also file a recovery suit based upon your appointment and renumeration letter.

As per law a notice is required to be sent to the person issuing the cheque than you may present the cheque and if it is again bounced than file the complaint in the court. Tell me where you had presented the cheque mean city.
