Can society charge penalty without any proof

Soc charge me penalty rs 100.to as saying u throw excess water to u r plant on Windows.they alligegate wrongly. I ask them. I never throw water . They dont have any evidence or proof. But still they chagre me wrongly. Eeven they don't give me any notice our any idea before they Charge me . My query is that should soc charge?any bylaw about that in soc?how can flight with them legally?

Though the society is registered, they can not charge penalty for the said reason. Do not pay the fine amount, as it is not legally charge. If they wants to recover the fine, they must have to give show cause notice to you. You will have liberty to answer the notice sent by them. Then we can decide how to answer the notice and what to do further.

Hello, ask the managing committee whether they have passed any resolutions in the meeting. What is practice with other members of the society. The society cannot compel you to pay.Go through the bye- laws.

The General Body of the Society can impose penalties for various breaches of the bye-laws of the Society. Under the instructions of the Committee, the Secretary of the Society shall inform the Member of any breaches of the Bye-laws.
