Can I sale flat (registered) without mutation !

Dear sir, I have purchased one flat in Guwahati from Builder which has already got registration but mutation has not done yet. Hence, I am enquarring wheather my right to the flat is absolute or totally legal without mutation. And can I sell this flat without mutation. Religion: I am a Hindu by birth.

First , you have to do mutation in your name in order to sale the flat again. The sale deed is registered but it does not mean that the new flat can be transferred to another person. Contact me if you need any further information.

no you can't give register to another person as the flat is not in your name . Still ownership is not transferred and still Builder is the owner of that flat. better to do mutation in your name then sale the flat
